Neurofeedback Specialist
Verified by Integrative Health Connect

Rachelle moved to Denver in 2020 to further pursue her career in holistic and integrative mental healthcare. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work and Psychology from Central Michigan University and her graduate degree from the University of Denver in 2021 with a Master’s of Social Work in Health and Wellness. During her graduate studies, Rachelle was first introduced to the concept of neuroplasticity and interpersonal neurobiology, and has since dove into professional research and clinical practice using this framework. Throughout the years, Rachelle has worked in various healthcare settings, with all age groups, and in clinical, administrative, and leadership roles. Rachelle has committed her life’s work to education, outreach, and integrative treatment of optimal brain health, cognitive performance, mental wellness, and trauma healing and rehabilitation.

Rachelle provides both neuro- and psychotherapy services at McWhorter CNR, including qEEG brain mapping, neurofeedback training, neuro-assisted meditation, mental health evaluations, individual psychotherapy, EMDR therapy, neurofeedback coaching, and at-home neurofeedback. Rachelle is a Clinical Social Work Candidate and is currently practicing under the supervision and mentorship of Dr. Ashlie Bell, Ph.D, LCSW, BCN. She is also certified in Human, Animal, and Environment Connections, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and is trained in Eye-Movement Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Rachelle specializes in treating anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, attention deficits, neurological dysfunction and injury, and executive functioning. Rachelle approaches symptoms, treatment, and therapy by considering the relationship to and the health of the brain, mind, and body. Her goal is to view patients from a whole-person perspective, and incorporates mindfulness, mind-body practices and wellness coaching into all of her clinical practice.

When Rachelle isn’t treating patients, she maintains an active lifestyle, enjoys taking adventures with her dog, Kaia, traveling, and seeing live music. Rachelle is originally from Metro Detroit, Michigan, and worked in Washington D.C. for three years prior to moving to Colorado in 2020.
